What is the 'Buryton Ball?
Over the summer, Coffee Spot owner Amy Sheehan found out that a dear friend, Elise Suchocki, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. She is undergoing an intensive and innovative protocol of chemo through Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Her journey has inspired Amy and her team to host a benefit to support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Claudia Adams Barr Program for Innovative Basic Cancer Research.
We are planning to hold the first-ever ‘Buryton Ball, a Bridgerton-inspired ball, at The Coffee Spot in downtown Simsbury, the proceeds of which will go directly to fund cancer research. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
The vision for the ball includes an evening filled with activities that will be sure to delight all attendees, and will include delicious hors d'oeuvres, ballroom dancing lessons, croquet on the front lawn, plus other unique activities. An online auction will be held the week leading up to the ball, and a Silent Auction will be held during the event.
Tickets will go on sale in March, and will only be available for purchase online.
